    BC PNP invited 157 candidates in the new round
    On April 23, 2019, British Columbia issued new invitations to apply to the candidates under Express Entry British Columbia and Skilled Immigrant categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) program. The total number of invitations issued in this round is 157. The lowest scores in the categories were:
    Skilled Immigrant – Skilled Worker 95
    Skilled Immigrant – International Graduate 105
    Skilled Immigrant – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 75
    Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker 105
    Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate 105
    In total, British Columbia invited 396 candidates in this month, and 2,417 candidates in 2019.

    Ontario provides new details about changes in the OINP’s Entrepreneur Stream
    The Ontario government plans to make changes to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, including adjusting the investment and net-worth thresholds for the OINP’s Entrepreneur Stream. The revised minimum personal investment if the proposed business will be located within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) will be $600,000. The revised minimum personal investment if the proposed business will be located outside the GTA will be $200,000. The minimum personal investment if the proposed business will be in the ICT/Digital Communications sector regardless of location will be $200,000. A further Entrepreneur Stream change would see the required business experience cut from 36 months in the last 60 months, to 24 months in the last 60 months.
